Our client is a not for profit organisation seeking an HR Officer to support the day to day delivery of HR and people services across the organisation. Reporting to the Corporate Assurance and People Manager, this role plays a key part in ensuring consistent, compliant and people centred HR practice.

This is a great opportunity for an organised and proactive HR professional who enjoys working across the full employee lifecycle and supporting managers and colleagues in a collaborative, values driven environment.


💥 As an HR Officer, you will:

  • Coordinate and administer all stages of the employee lifecycle

  • Support recruitment activity including administration, interviews and pre employment checks

  • Deliver effective onboarding and HR inductions for new starters

  • Manage HR systems and maintain accurate employee data in line with GDPR

  • Coordinate learning and development activity and maintain training records

  • Support payroll processes and respond to related queries

  • Assist with employee relations matters and contribute to HR projects

  • Produce regular HR reports and support data driven decision making


💥 What we’re looking for:

  • Strong HR or people administration experience with excellent attention to detail

  • Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice

  • Confident IT skills including Microsoft Office and HR systems

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to build positive working relationships across an organisation

  • Experience working in a not for profit or values driven environment

  • A CIPD qualification or working towards one is desirable but not essential
