Our client is a well-established health charity seeking an Events & Engagement Coordinator to join their team. This is a highly people-focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys being out in the community, representing a cause, and engaging directly with the public to raise awareness and support.
💥 As an Events & Engagement Coordinator, you will:
Attend and support a range of events, including community days, health awareness events and fundraising activities
Act as a confident ambassador for the charity, speaking to members of the public about its mission and impact
Build positive relationships with supporters, volunteers and external stakeholders
Support the planning, coordination and delivery of events from start to finish
Deliver clear, engaging messages about health-related topics in an accessible way
Collect feedback and insights from events to support engagement and improvement
Work closely with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation
💥 What we’re looking for:
Previous experience working within a health charity or health-focused not-for-profit organisation
Confidence speaking to a wide range of people in public and community settings
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive, approachable and professional manner
Experience supporting or delivering events
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to events as required
Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings or weekends
